Have followed your postings across the web for a long time now, but Jason, needs to take complete responsibility for his actions. as Ron White says, "You can't fix stupid." His actions were exactly that and I am happy that he got out with nothing damaged but his pride. All to often people think 4WD means they won't get stuck, it just means you get stuck harder and further in... The common sense rule is you use 2WD until you need 4WD and then you turn around and go back, also you never ever travel the back country alone.

Having said that, if the "lessons Learned" equate to something like this, then perhaps it was worth it... But in this age of instant gratifications, Cell phones that don't work when needed, and advertising hype we need to keep sight of the notion that we are alway totally responsible for our actions or lack of them.
