Hi Boyd,
Great info. Question how and can you get on with an already established Pilot car company if you have your own vehicals and certifications?
Are there any restrictions to get certifide in all 49 states and Canada? I am type II diabetic.
I live in Texas and am 63 yrs old, retired but would like to drive and travel. I have been in thr trucking industry for 10 yrs as technian to 35 yrs as service manager. I have been a DOT inspector and state inspector. I feel I could do this very well, be an asset to the trucker with the load if any problem that night arise.
Can you or will your reccommend a company I might apply to. Any input you have will be deeply apprciated.

i have been an OTR driver for the past 10 years looking for a little change. getting burned out. have been thinking about Pilot. i know that i have seen and worked with a few escort companies that have quite a few cars and let others run under their authority but for the lief of me i cant remember any of those companies. i do remember that most of them were based in the south. was wondering if you knew of any that “leased” vehicles and drivers. thanks
