My name is Elton Boyd. I am the owner/operator and janitor of All American Pilot Car Services. I started All American Pilot Car Services in March 2005 after working for another company.
I truly enjoy the pilot car industry. I learn something new about it very day. I like the people, drivers and other escorts, that I meet and the relationships that develop. This business gives me the opportunity to see parts of this country that I might not ever have seen.
I believe that most rules or laws were written for a reason. That doesn’t mean that I don’t break rules or laws, but I do think seriously before I violate them. That is the basis for my policies, which you can see on my POLICIES page.
I grew up in eastern New Mexico and the Texas Panhandle. I served 21 years in the U. S. Army, including Reserve, National Guard, and Active duty time. I have commanded three combat arms units and am a Viet Nam veteran. I have had as many as 350 people working for me.
Having “retired” in 1989, I have held various management positions in the civilian world. I have launched a couple of semi-successful business ventures and learned from my mistakes. I am enjoying success in the pilot car business. This is my home.
